Carter is 3 years old!

I can't believe our oldest child is already 3 years old! Wow- time has flown so fast. This year we decided to do a simple little birthday for Carter since all the kids have been sick for about a week. Plus we have 3 birthdays in our family in January- Carter, Luke and Caden. Carter asked for chocolate cupcakes and he went to town on the chocolate frosting. (Atta boy) We also ordered pizza and had a fun time with just the 5 of us. I love Carter so much. He is such a sweetheart and is literally my little shadow. He loves to follow me everywhere and has done this since he was able to get around on his own. He is definately a momma's boy! Some of his favorite things are:

• Putting things like pennies, marbles, and tiny tires from toy cars in his pocket


• Using keys to open all the bedroom doors in the house


• Sitting in the drivers seat of the Tahoe and play with all the buttons and pretending he is driving


• Lining up all his cars from the movie "Cars" and reciting some of the phrases they say in the movie (Like when Mack says "Pretty Music")


• Kissing Cienna on the head while saying very loudly "OHHHHH Cienna"


• Spotting FJ Cruisers when we are out driving and saying "Cathi Car-Bus" (then whatever color the FJ Cruiser is) He calls Cathi's car a "Car-Bus" cause it's yellow like a school bus, but he knows it's a car


• Talking on my cell phone at whoever will talk to him, but he is especially excited when it's Cathi


• Playing outside for hours


• Bringing bugs in the house and saying "Mommy look- bug"


• Having mommy hold him all the time- in fact he sometimes forgets he has legs


• Putting his baby toe over his fourth toe and saying "Mommy watch" then he uncrosses them without touching them (silly kid)
